Google Search allows you to easily share generative AI responses directly from AI Overviews and AI Mode. This official feature helps you quickly send AI-synthesized summaries, answers, and deep-dives to friends, family, or colleagues with just a few clicks.
The following guide outlines how to seamlessly share these AI-powered insights across different devices. How to Share AI Overviews and AI Mode Responses
You can share your AI-generated search summaries directly from the Google interface via native social sharing buttons or by copying a direct link. On Desktop Computers Navigate to Google Search or open Google AI Mode.
Perform your search query to generate an AI Overview or AI Mode response.
Locate the Share icon or options button at the bottom of the AI-generated response card. Choose your preferred sharing method:
Social Platforms: Click on an available social media icon at the bottom of the card and follow the prompts to post.
Direct Link: Select the option to copy the unique response link to your clipboard.
Paste your link into emails, messaging apps, or collaborative documents. On Mobile Devices (Android & iOS) Open the Google App or your preferred mobile web browser.
Enter a search query that triggers an AI response, or activate AI Mode directly. Tap the Share button visible on the AI answer snippet.
Use the system share sheet to send it immediately via SMS, WhatsApp, Slack, or other connected communication applications. Best Practices for Evaluating Shared AI Responses
While sharing AI responses is highly efficient, it is essential to remember that generative AI experiences can occasionally make mistakes or surface inaccurate details. Before acting on shared information, keep these strategies from the Google Web Search Help Center in mind:
Verify via Links: Always click the supporting web links provided within the AI Overview or AI Mode interface to evaluate the original source material.
Cross-Reference: Double-check crucial details—such as local pricing or complex technical processes—by consulting multiple independent sources.
Provide Feedback: If you notice an error in a generated response, click the Feedback option to help Google programmatically improve the search experience for everyone. Share your AI-powered responses from Google Search
