To access and use the management module of the D-Link AirPremier AG DWL-7100AP revision B, you must configure your computer to match the device’s default network subnet, connect via an Ethernet cable, and use a web browser. How to Access the Management Module

Connect the Hardware: Connect an Ethernet cable from your computer’s network card directly to the LAN port on the back panel of the DWL-7100AP. Ensure the access point is powered on.

Configure Your Computer’s IP: The default IP address of the DWL-7100AP is 192.168.0.50 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0. You must temporarily assign your computer a static IP address in the same range, such as 192.168.0.99, to communicate with it.

Open the Web User Interface (WebUI): Launch a web browser and type http://192.168.0.50 into the address bar, then press Enter.

Log In: When the login prompt appears, enter admin in lowercase for the username. Leave the password field completely blank (there is no default password). Click OK or Log In. How to Use the Management Module

Once logged in, the WebUI displays several navigation tabs across the top of the system to manage its dual-band 802.11a/b/g capabilities: 1. Home Tab & Setup Wizard

Setup Wizard: Click Run Wizard from the main Home page. The step-by-step assistant will guide you through setting up a device password, configuring the 802.11a (5GHz) wireless network, and configuring the 802.11g (2.4GHz) wireless network.

Wireless Settings: You can change the SSID (network name) and select a manual radio channel or stick to default values (e.g., default Channel 52 for 802.11a). 2. Advanced Tab (Security & Segmentation)
